FAQ's

Do I need to be referred for treatment by a doctor?
No, anyone can phone to have an appointment for Physiotherapy or Sports Massage.

How long will the treatments last?
Physiotherapy:
45 minutes

Sports Massage:
1 hour or 30 min - you choose.

What happens with insurance?
In order to keep costs down, and to maximise time spent with the client, we request that you pay us directly, and then make a claim from your Insurance company using the receipt(s) provided. Some people will claim from their Insurance companies after each session, others choose to wait until the course of treatment is complete - it is entirely up to you.

What do I wear?
Please be aware that you may be required to undress to your underwear, in order that an effective assessment can be carried out. You are asked to wear appropriate undergarments and invited to bring shorts if this would make you feel more comfortable.

Will it hurt?
You may be worried that the treatment is going to hurt and cause more pain than is already present. We are acutely aware of the importance of limiting the amount of pain and discomfort that you are experiencing. Our aim is to alleviate your pain. You may experience some treatment soreness, however if you feel this to be excessive, either during or after the session, please inform your therapist and your treatment will be amended accordingly.

Do you communicate with my doctor?
If you are referred by your GP it is practice to send a letter informing him or her of your progress. If you refer yourself and you wish us to inform your GP we would be more than happy to do so.
