Outside Empire Terrance

Inside Empire TerrancePhotographs of 8 Empire Terrace, Douglas

Scott Physiotherapy is the Island’s premier Physiotherapy facility, including four Physiotherapists and a full time Sports Massage Practitioner who make up the team. Clients will benefit from the most up to date facilities and technology, including a full range of rehabilitation equipment, the Island’s only clinically biased Pilates Reformer, video analysis, and 3-D anatomical computer imagery.

Two years after opening the clinic in Peel the Scott Physiotherapy team are delighted to announce the opening of a new Physiotherapy clinic in Douglas.  The site in Empire Terrace is more than just a satellite clinic as we share the building and work closely with the Manx Osteopathic Clinic.  The Douglas clinic is, like the Peel clinic, fully equipped with the latest rehabilitation equipment and will provide the same quality treatments that we are renowned for.  Paul Jones MCSP is the Physiotherapist who is based in Douglas and will be available for weekday and Saturday morning appointments.  We hope that the new clinic will benefit our Douglas based patients with a more convenient location.

Isla is well known on the Isle of Man as the Physiotherapist who went to the Olympic Games to be part of the Athens 2004 Health Services Team. Whilst Isla may be best known for working at the last 2 Commonwealth Games and the Athens Olympics, Scott Physiotherapy is a recognised partner of the Isle of Man Institute of Sport.  Our Physiotherapists work closely with the Island’s elite athletes to help maximise their potential.

All of our therapists are committed to continuing professional development and have a varied range of courses and symposia booked for the coming months. They regularly attend sporting events, both on and off the Island. Isla returned from Melbourne, having provided Physiotherapy to the most successful Isle of Man Commonwealth Games Team everBen has been busy this year providing Sports Massage cover for the European Indoor Athletics Championships in Birmingham and for the Isle of Man swimmers at the Nat West Island Games in Rhodes.

Scott Physiotherapy is an enthusiastic supporter of local sports, sponsoring Western Athletic Club’s Dave Phillips Memorial Race series for the second year running and also local athletes; Dave Molyneux, Steve Colley, Conor Cummins and Alex Hedges.
