What to expect on your first visit

Isla in treatment roomWhen you arrive at Scott Physiotherapy please enter the reception area and take a seat until your therapist is free.

It would be helpful, although not essential, if you could bring with you any relevant medical information such as scan reports, x-ray reports, details of any previous surgery etc.

Please be aware that you may be required to undress to your underwear, in order that an effective assessment can be carried out. You are asked to wear appropriate undergarments and invited to bring shorts if this would make you feel more comfortable.

Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an appropriate adult.

You do not need to be referred by a GP to attend Scott Physiotherapy. However, those clients wishing to claim on Private Health Schemes should note that Insurance Companies do require a GP referral prior to the commencement of treatment.

All clients are required to pay at the conclusion of each treatment session. You wil be given a receipt which can be used to make a claim from your Insurance Company. For further details see Prices and Payment
